While it remains uncertain if a new trailer for Hollow Knight: Silksong will be unveiled during today’s Indie World Showcase, there’s some positive news for Gamescom attendees! Starting from August 20th to 24th, the game will be playable at Nintendo’s booth in Hall 9. For those eager to avoid the crowds at Xbox’s booth, this presents a wonderful opportunity to experience it firsthand.
Not only that, but Nintendo DE has announced on Twitter that games like “Metroid Prime 4: Beyond”, “Hades 2”, “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade”, “Elden Ring Tarnished Edition”, “Borderlands 4”, and “EA Sports FC 26” along with “Pokémon Legends: Z-A” are also playable. Since many of these games don’t have a release date yet or will be coming out later this year, it’s a great chance to get an early hands-on experience.
Just ahead of Gamescom commencing, Opening Night Live is set to return on August 19th, bringing you two hours full of announcements and updates. While Nintendo’s participation hasn’t been confirmed yet, there’s a chance they might surprise us with some unexpected reveals. Keep an eye out for further information and live coverage leading up to the event later this month.
