You can buy Microsoft’s Windows Ugly Sweater for 2025 directly from the online Company Store.
Microsoft has created collectible “Ugly Sweaters” each year for the past few years, each with a unique design. The very first one, released in 2018, is particularly rare. It wasn’t sold in stores, and only a small number were given to fans and influencers. The sweater showcased the classic Windows 95 logo and started what has become a popular annual tradition.
The Windows XP Ugly Sweater followed in 2019, and like the first, it was only given to a small group of influencers and fans. In 2020, the Windows Ugly Sweater became available for purchase by the general public for the first time, sold through the Microsoft Company Store. This version featured a design based on the beloved Windows Paint application.
Microsoft’s annual Ugly Sweater series has featured fun themes from the tech world. In 2021, it was inspired by the game Minesweeper, followed by Clippy in 2022, and the classic Windows XP Bliss wallpaper in 2023. There wasn’t a sweater released in 2024, but thankfully, Microsoft is bringing it back for 2025.
