Miley Cyrus deserves all the flowers for this look.
Grammy-winning artist wore a stunning black sequined gown by Saint Laurent to the Golden Globes on January 11th. The dress, with its dramatic, pleated shoulders, was a standout look as she attended the awards show where her song “Dream as One” from Avatar: Fire and Ash is nominated for Best Original Song – Motion Picture.
The 33-year-old completed her look with a Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace with an emerald pendant.
Miley’s song is nominated for an award alongside tracks like “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters, “I Lied to You” from Sinners, and songs from Wicked: For Good and Train Dreams. This nomination comes at a busy and positive time for Miley, as she’s also been promoting her work on Avatar and recently announced her engagement.
Miley Cyrus, who first became famous on Hannah Montana, shared that she feels completely content right now, four years into her relationship with the drummer from Liily. This feeling inspired her to write the song for Avatar.
She shared that she’d grown tremendously over the past four years. Speaking on Good Morning America in December, she emphasized the importance of big dreams and having supportive people who believe in you.
Miley, who was once married to Liam Hemsworth, shared that she actually prefers award shows without the competition of trying to win something.
During a recent speech at the Palm Springs Film Awards, she pointed out that awards season often pits performers against each other when they should be supporting one another as a community. She explained that there’s no single ‘best’ performance, only each artist’s personal best. While numbers and rankings can make it seem like a competition, she emphasized that acting is about much more than just winning – it’s about the vulnerability and unique perspective each artist brings, and the lasting impact of their work.

Despite all the excitement around the new James Cameron film, the actress from The Last Song shared that she’s happily taking a break and enjoying some downtime.
As she joked, “I’ve been involved for like a month, and I get to go to all the same events!”
