Millie Bobby Brown’s world has turned upside down in the best way.

Just two months ago, my husband, Jake Bongiovi, and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our family through adoption, and honestly, it’s been the most incredible experience. While participating in a game for *Time* magazine with her *Stranger Things* co-stars, Millie’s friend, Noah Schnapp, had to guess what she couldn’t live without. He started by asking, turning to her, “Is it this or that?”

Millie simply nodded, so Noah assumed she had written “Jake.” But Millie then shared that she had actually written, “Her baby.”

“It’s still the same situation,” she argued. “Without her, he wouldn’t exist, so the outcome is the same.”

Since Jake and Millie welcomed their baby girl, they’ve chosen to keep details private, including her name and what she looks like.

When they shared the news, the couple expressed their excitement about starting a family and asked for privacy as they begin this new journey.

Millie, 21, hasn’t shared many details, but the *Enola Holmes* actress has openly talked about wanting to have a family since marrying Jake in May 2024.

She shared on the *Smartless* podcast in March that despite being young herself, her parents were very young when they had her – her mom was 21 and her dad was 19. She explained that ever since she was a little girl, playing with baby dolls, she’d wanted to be a mother, just like her own mom was to her.

And 23-year-old Jake—son to Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley—was game.

Millie went on to say that Jake understood how much starting a family meant to her. While she’s dedicated to building her career as both an actor and a producer, she also feels it’s really important for her to have children.

Millie shared that she and Jake both come from large families – they each have three siblings – and she’s always dreamed of having a similar big family herself. She’s also been thinking about adoption as a way to make that dream a reality.

She described her home as a loving and welcoming space for everyone and everything. They’re hoping to start a family sometime in the future, and are open to however that might happen.

And happen it did, with the pair sharing just mere months later, “And then there were three.”
