Millie Bobby Brown Reveals Artist Who Performed at Her Wedding

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi’s wedding singer was worth it. 

The Stranger Things actress shared that Raye sang at her wedding in 2024, creating a special moment she’ll always cherish with her father.

Millie shared on the November 25th episode of the Dish podcast that Raye’s performance was incredible. Raye sang the song Millie and her father danced to at her wedding – a selection of Frank Sinatra classics. Millie described it as ‘epic’.

Millie, 21, and Jake, 23, got married in May 2024 with a small family gathering, followed by a larger celebration in Italy a few months later. Millie especially wanted to ensure both she and Jake knew how to dance well – having that first dance with her dad was important, but so was making sure her husband could move on the dance floor too!

I always performed dance routines at family events growing up, so when Jake proposed, my first thought was that we had to learn a dance together. It’ll be a lasting memory, and I imagine even when we’re older, hearing the song will bring back the dance – it’s going to be something really special for us.

“I signed us up for dance lessons,” she said. “We were originally planning to learn the choreography from Dirty Dancing, but I was worried—if we didn’t get it right, it would be really difficult!”

Millie and Jake, who shared in August that they had adopted a baby girl, have now chosen another favorite name for her.

The actress known for Enola Holmes shared that her favorite movie is Grease 2. She also mentioned performing a medley of songs from Grease, which included about a six-minute dance routine.

People were like, ‘Oh my God you can tell she’s an actor.’ It was amazing.” 

The recent moves proved useful for Jake after he married, especially considering his parents are famous musician Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley.

The other night, Jake and I were at a bar, and a woman playfully told me, ‘You’re the one I want!’ Then, Jake immediately started flirting with her.

Millie and Jake recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary by reminiscing about their special day.

“1 year married,” Millie captioned a Sept. 21 Instagram post. “I love being your wife.”
