With clear eyes and a full heart, Minka Kelly can’t lose. 

The actress, known for her role in Friday Night Lights, recently made her red carpet debut with her partner, Dan Reynolds, after dating for over three years.

At the MOCA Gala in Los Angeles on May 30th, Minka Kelly wore a shimmering orange sequined midi dress by Roland Mouret, paired with nude heels. Dan Reynolds, the lead singer of Imagine Dragons, accompanied her, wearing a gray suit and black t-shirt, and was seen affectionately holding her close on the red carpet.

Minka and Dan recently went on a date night, following their last public appearance a month prior at a Houston Rockets versus Los Angeles Lakers NBA playoff game. They looked happy and were seen sitting courtside at the April game held at the Crypto.com Arena.

Since confirming their relationship in 2022, the actress from Ransom Canyon and her musician partner – who has four children named Arrow (13), twins Gia and Coco (9), and Valentine (4) with his ex-wife, Aja Volkman – have occasionally shared details about their life together.

Minka shared a heartfelt birthday message on Instagram last July, writing that this man has brought healing to her life just by being authentic. She praised his genuine masculinity – a strength rooted in vulnerability, honesty, and love. She realized he showed her new depths of kindness, love, patience, generosity, and gentleness – qualities she thought she already understood.

She went on to say that watching him as a father – loving his children, respecting their mother, and striving to meet everyone’s needs – was truly special. He consistently found ways to bring joy to those who were fortunate enough to be loved by him, and his kindness, principles, and integrity all stemmed from his deep love.

Minka, 45, has been a supportive presence for Dan, 38, and he’s returned the favor. He especially appreciates her willingness to read early versions of her 2023 memoir, Tell Me Everything, and provide feedback.

He described meeting someone as an unusual but wonderful experience. He learned all about her life – from her childhood to the present – and was struck by how challenging, vibrant, and beautiful it had been. ‘It was incredible getting to know her whole story before even meeting her,’ he told People magazine in July 2024. ‘I’d never been introduced to someone like that before.’
