Jessi Ngatikaura is taking a (pee) break.
A star from the show Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is taking a break from social media after sharing a risqué story about her costars, Demi and Bret Engemann.
On November 25th, Jessi announced on Instagram that she was taking another break from social media. She explained, ‘Now that I’ve shared my news, I’m logging off again. It was a really good mental health break, and I miss it!’
I definitely acted childish today, but I’ve decided I won’t let someone who caused me so much trouble last year continue to control me. Thanks for listening.
The 33-year-old, married to Jordan Ngatikaura, had taken a break from social media but came back to address recent negative comments made about her online by Demi.
In a video posted to her Instagram Stories on November 25th, Jessi said, “Because she’s being deliberately unpleasant, I’m going to reveal that her grandfather, Bret, drinks her urine as if it were a soft drink, and he drinks it quickly.”
After Jessi’s remark went viral, Demi responded with a statement of her own.
Demi shared on Instagram that something intimate she and her husband did privately was consensual and part of their marriage. She emphasized that this private moment shouldn’t overshadow a separate, serious incident that she did not agree to.

She explained that she had told Jessi this information privately almost two years prior.
She thought it was significant that Jessi brought this up at this particular moment, seemingly interrupting the natural flow of the conversation. She wondered if the timing was related to the recent season three reveal about Jessi’s emotional affair with Marciano Brunette. Demi had previously accused Brunette of inappropriate touching during a crossover episode between Mormon Wives and Vanderpump Villa in season two. Brunette, however, strongly denied these allegations, calling them both untrue and harmful.

She thought it was significant that Jessi brought this up at this particular moment, breaking from the natural flow of the conversation. She wondered if it had anything to do with the recent season three reveal of Jessi’s emotional affair with Marciano Brunette. Demi had previously accused Brunette of unwanted physical contact with her during a crossover episode between Mormon Wives and Vanderpump Villa. Brunette, however, strongly denied these claims, calling them both false and harmful.
Demi concluded by stating that this was simply a tactic to distract from her own actions.
Jessi responded to a comment from her fellow cast member by claiming Demi wasn’t open and honest about her life on the show Mormon Wives.
She posted on Instagram that day, asking what people were trying to distract from. She explained that she was the only one openly addressing the situation and sharing the truth, and that she wasn’t concealing anything. She accused the other person of being the one who was hiding things, and that it was obvious to everyone.

The actors discussed taking a break from social media, and they both supported each other’s decision to post less.
Demi commented on a TikTok video about their disagreement, which Jessi shared on Instagram Stories, saying, ‘I thought she’d stopped using social media! It’s good to see that’s all it took for her to try and get attention again.’
Okay, so this whole situation with Demi played out publicly, and honestly, it was a bit much. Demi responded to Jessi’s post, and it was…intense. She basically told Demi she needed to step away from social media, suggesting she needed professional help. It was a really harsh thing to say, and definitely escalated the drama. As someone who watches these things, it’s a reminder that sometimes taking a break and prioritizing your mental health is the smartest move, and responding in anger rarely helps.
