Motherland legend set for role in major upcoming Marvel series

I’m really excited to hear that Diane Morgan, who I absolutely love from ‘Motherland,’ is joining the cast of the new Marvel series coming to Disney Plus, ‘VisionQuest’! It’s shaping up to be a really interesting project, and I think she’ll be brilliant in it.

This series will wrap up the story begun in WandaVision and Agatha All Along, and will once again feature Paul Bettany as White Vision, picking up where his storyline left off in WandaVision.

Variety reports that Morgan is set to play “an associate” of Todd Stashwick’s character, Paladin.

Lauren Morais is also joining the show, and she’ll be playing Lisa Molinari, a Marvel Comics character with a close relationship to Thomas Shepherd, played by Ruaridh Mollica.

Morgan is famous for her roles in the popular BBC comedy Motherland and the Netflix series After Life. Interestingly, she’s now going to play an android in a new BBC series called Ann Droid, which she also helped write with Sarah Kendall.

Morais has acted in shows like Mudtown, The Red King, and The Crow Girl. Her upcoming role in VisionQuest will be her most significant to date.

Joining Bettany in the cast are James Spader as Ultron, Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Henry Lewis as Dum-E, and Stashwick as Paladin, all of whom were previously announced.

We don’t have many details about the story yet, but the show will likely continue to follow the main character as he learns more about himself, continuing the story from where it ended in WandaVision.

Following the events of WandaVision, White Vision is grappling with his newly restored memories, but finds it difficult to truly understand them because he doesn’t experience the emotions they’re connected to.
