The detective adventure game, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, is scheduled to release on April 16th. Fumi Games and PlaySide Publishing have announced the different ways to buy it. The Standard Edition will cost $29.99 digitally, and the Digital Deluxe Edition will be $39.99. The Deluxe Edition comes with the complete game soundtrack, a new song by Caravan Palace, a digital comic book, and the first expansion pack, which will be available at a later time.
The game will be available in stores on July 10th for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The Standard Edition will cost $29.99 on PS5 and $39.99 on Switch 2. A special Mouseburg Edition will be available for $49.99 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and will cost $59.99 on Nintendo Switch 2.
This special edition includes some cool physical items like a seven-inch vinyl record with four songs, a map of Mouseburg that also has a diagram of a pistol on the back, the comic book itself, 33 baseball cards, three postcards, and two sheets of stickers. No matter which version you get for the Switch 2, it also comes with a game card.
I’ve been checking out MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, and it looks like a pretty good length game – I’m expecting to spend anywhere from 12 to 20 hours playing it, depending on how thorough I am. They’ve got some gameplay footage of the boss battles over here, and a more in-depth look at the game’s features here if you want to see more.
