Much-anticipated Call My Agent! film confirms release date with first look at returning iconic comedy

Fans have been waiting five years, and now we have a first look at the new season of Call My Agent! It’s officially coming out this summer!

From 2015 to 2020, the French show featured Camille Cottin, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, and others as a team of talent agents at the ASK agency.

The show explored the connections between the characters and their clients, who were portrayed by famous actors playing versions of themselves, including many well-known French celebrities.

Many fans were disappointed when Call My Agent! ended after four seasons, but a movie was announced in 2021. Now, after a five-year wait, the Call My Agent! movie will be released on Netflix on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Five years after shutting down, Andréa is excited to start filming her first movie. But when her main actor leaves and she has a falling out with her producer, she teams up with Noémie, who’s now a successful reality TV producer, thinking she can take advantage of her skills.

As she deals with a total overhaul of the movie’s cast, problems during filming, and a court case that could affect her daughter’s custody, her life starts to fall apart. Soon, her old coworkers from ASK begin showing up on the stressful movie set.

Everyone comes to the reunion with their own personality, pride, and some unresolved issues, unaware of the surprises that await them.

The beloved cast of the series will all be back for the movie, including Camille Cottin, Laure Calamy, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney, Liliane Rovère, Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, Ophélia Kolb, Anne Marivin, and Laurent Lafitte.

If the storyline seems familiar even if you haven’t watched this series, it might be because a British version called Ten Percent came out in 2022, featuring Jack Davenport, Lydia Leonard, Maggie Steed, and Prasanna Puwanarajah.

I was really disappointed when that show only lasted one season on Prime Video. Critics were pretty divided on it – a lot of them felt it didn’t bring anything new to the table and just stuck too closely to the fantastic French version we all love.

Okay, so I just got a peek at the script for the Call My Agent! movie, and let me tell you, if the writing team of Fanny Herrero and Lison Daniel – and director Emilie Noblet – have anything to do with it, it’s going to be just as hilarious as the series we all loved. They really nailed the comedy in the show, and early signs suggest they’ve brought that same energy to the film.

This program was created by Mediawan – Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Production, with support from France Télévisions.
