Reality TV fans are grieving over the loss of an inspirational voice.
Dolly Martinez, who was featured on season ten of My 600-Lb. Life, has passed away at the age of 30, according to her sister, Lindsey Cooper.
Lindsey announced on Facebook on April 11th that her sister, Dolly, had passed away. She described Dolly as a wonderfully vibrant person who could brighten any space with her joyful laughter, genuine kindness, and loving nature. Dolly had a gift for making everyone feel valued, and Lindsey says her warmth will be deeply missed and remembered.
You know, I’ve been following this story, and it’s really touching to see how this celebrity’s sister is managing. She’s actually finding a little bit of calm and peace, even though she’s going through a really tough period. It’s a reminder that even in hard times, it’s possible to find moments of serenity.
Although we’re deeply saddened by her passing, I’m comforted knowing she’s now with our father in heaven. I imagine it’s a truly joyful reunion for them both.
Lindsey said a final goodbye to Dolly, promising she would always be loved, missed, and remembered.
Dolly first became known on the TLC reality show in 2022, at the age of 25. While on the show, she shared her experiences with overcoming food addiction.
She explained that while food has been the source of many of her struggles, it’s also been her only coping mechanism for feeling better. She feels lost about how to break that cycle and start making changes.

While on the show, Dolly tried to meet the requirements for weight loss surgery and lost around 40 pounds. Unfortunately, she wasn’t approved for the procedure before the series ended.
Lindsey silenced negative commenters after announcing her sister’s death.
Lindsey shared on Facebook on April 12th that she’s allowed to mourn her sister, Dolly. While many people may know Dolly from a TV show or TikTok, Lindsey asked that people remember there was much more to her than just her public image.
As she put it, “She was my sister first. She deserves peace and she deserves kindness.”
