My Adventures with Superman Season 3 to Debut New Take on Superboy
Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman kicks off on Adult Swim Saturday, June 13th at midnight Eastern and Pacific time as part of the Toonami lineup. It will then be available to stream on HBO Max the following day. This season will adapt the popular comic book storyline “Reign of the Supermen,” which the show has hinted at in previous seasons. While characters like Hank Crenshaw and Steel have already appeared, the arrival of Superboy and Cyborg Superman will complete the arc.
Darren Criss will voice Superboy (Connor Kent) in the new series. This is exciting news for My Adventures with Superman because Criss has previously voiced Superman in recent animated DC films like Superman: Man of Tomorrow and Justice League: Warworld. He joins a talented voice cast that also includes Jack Quaid, known for The Boys, who plays Clark Kent.

In an interview with ComicBook, while discussing the upcoming final season of The Boys, Jack Quaid shared an update on My Adventures with Superman Season 3. He said he doesn’t know the exact release date, but recording has continued, including additional dialogue work. He assured fans the new season is definitely happening and that he’s very excited about it, describing it as a delightful contrast to The Boys. He explained that while The Boys explores the dark and violent side of superheroes, Superman is simply about wanting to do good, like rescuing a puppy.
The creators of My Adventures with Superman have hinted at classic villains like Lex Luthor behaving more like their comic book versions. They’ve also announced the introduction of major characters like Jessica Cruz as Green Lantern, who will appear in her own concurrent series, My Adventures with Green Lantern.
