Even though the anime My Hero Academia finished its main story last year, the series isn’t over yet! Next month, Studio BONES will release a special episode called “More” that adapts key scenes from the manga that weren’t included in the original anime. And with both the manga and anime complete, the franchise is expanding with a new digital addition! Get ready, fans of UA Academy, because My Hero Academia United Survival is on its way!
This week, My Hero Academia revealed a new mobile game called My Hero Academia United Survival. The popular animation studio, Studio BONES, is returning to create special animations for the game. While a preview has been released, it doesn’t show how the game will be played or what the game, nicknamed “HiroSaba”, will actually be like. Still, fans of the anime will likely be excited about this new addition. This announcement comes after the news that another My Hero Academia mobile game, My Hero Academia: Ultra Impact, will stop running in May 2026. Now that the manga series has finished, it will be interesting to see what other games are developed in the future.
The official website for My Hero Academia UNITED SURVIVAL recently announced the game’s upcoming release. The new mobile game, also known as “HiroSaba,” will be available on the App Store, Google Play, and Windows. A first look at a teaser trailer and key visual created by Bones Films has been revealed. You can watch the trailer below.
More My Hero Academia
The upcoming release, titled “More,” will include scenes from the My Hero Academia manga that weren’t shown in the anime’s final episode. Specifically, it expands on the connection between Deku and Uravity, which many fans felt needed further development. The original manga concluded with Izuku becoming a teacher and Ochaco continuing her work as a hero, leaving their potential romance unexplored. However, creator Kohei Horikoshi has now added content showing what a romantic relationship between them might look like as adults.
The second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, a spin-off series about heroes who work outside the law, recently finished airing. While a third season hasn’t been announced yet, the show is close to finishing the manga it’s based on. A third season would be needed to fully adapt the story and conclude the arcs of characters like Pop Step, Knuckleduster, and Crawler.
