On Izuku Midoriya’s birthday, the anime adaptation of My Hero Academia, produced by Studio BONES, offers a delightful surprise for fans. For a while now, we’ve been anticipating the eighth and concluding season of this popular superhero shonen series, which marks the beginning of Class 1-A’s long-awaited transformation into professional crime fighters. As the seventh season finale left us hanging with Midoriya battling Shigaraki while All Might tries to contain All For One, fans have eagerly been looking forward to witnessing the upcoming battles from UA Academy.
In simple terms, the final season of “My Hero Academia” will start airing from October 4th, which means fans don’t have long to wait until Deku bids farewell. To commemorate the birthday of its protagonist, Izuku Midoriya (also known as Deku), on July 15th, the official website unveiled the key visual for the “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON”. This highly anticipated anime will be streaming on Crunchyroll from October 4th. For a sneak peek, you can view the new poster for the final season below.

A New Final Season
Previously in the summer, our team at egmr.ru was fortunate enough to go to Anime Expo. At this event, “My Hero Academia” offered a sneak peek into its upcoming storyline. During the panel, the creator, Kohei Horikoshi, shared that since the manga has concluded, he now has more time to collaborate with Studio BONES on the anime. As a result of this collaboration, Horikoshi hinted at creating additional scenes not found in the original manga, implying that viewers will witness never-before-seen moments. Here is an exact quote from Horikoshi:
Since the manga series “My Hero Academia” has concluded, I’ve been able to collaborate more intimately with the production studio on the anime. This has allowed me to propose additional scenes and deeper emotional depth to the characters’ performances. Essentially, when the last manga chapter was published, the mangaka utilized this opportunity to delve further into the aftermath of the heroes’ final battle by creating “bonus scenes” that offer a glimpse into their future lives.
Interestingly, despite My Hero Academia‘s final season marking an end for some aspects of the UA Academy universe on screen, there’s more to come! My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has been greenlit for a second season, which means Crawler, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster will lead Horikoshi’s world in future episodes. Additionally, though not yet confirmed, there’s speculation that Class 1-A could make a comeback in a new feature-length film, as the last movie wasn’t necessarily the end of the franchise.
