Natasha Lyonne Attends Event After Allegedly Being Escorted Off Plane

Natasha Lyonne made it to her final destination.

Following an incident where she was reportedly taken off a flight from Los Angeles to New York City, the actress—known for her role in Orange is the New Black—was seen in public for the first time in New York City two days later.

Natasha, who hosted Saturday Night Live in 2022, looked happy as she attended the premiere of Lorne, a tribute to the show’s creator, Lorne Michaels, on April 9th. She wore a sleek black midi dress paired with a white button-down shirt, completing the outfit with black boots and her trademark wavy red hair.

It was a memorable evening for the 47-year-old, who stood with her friend Hamer Morgenstern on the red carpet. Afterwards, she took photos with Seth Meyers and Saturday Night Live’s Sarah Sherman at the documentary’s after-party.

I just saw this incredible documentary about Lorne Michaels by Morgan Neville, and I have to say, it’s fantastic! I actually laughed out loud multiple times – it’s both touching and genuinely funny. Definitely worth checking out!

I was so excited to hear Natasha was at the Euphoria season three premiere in Los Angeles on April 7th! Sadly, things took a turn for the worse. Apparently, she then got on a Delta flight and didn’t listen to the flight attendants, according to Page Six. It’s really disappointing to hear.

According to reports, the actress was asked to leave the plane after crew members saw her falling asleep with her sunglasses on and realized she hadn’t put on her seatbelt.

Natasha explained on X (formerly Twitter) that a travel issue caused her to miss her scheduled appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

On April 9th, she expressed her support for TSA agents who haven’t been paid. She also mentioned she was excited about a potential conversation with Drew Barrymore the previous day, but it didn’t happen.

Okay, so this situation is interesting. Instead of addressing the claims made by the publication directly, she ended her statement by essentially questioning who is actually in charge over there at Page Six and the New York Post. It’s a classic move – deflect and question the source, rather than tackle the issue head-on. It definitely leaves you wondering what she’s really thinking and implies she doesn’t necessarily trust their reporting.

Natasha seems to be handling the situation with good humor. After Page Six posted an article on X claiming she appeared disoriented at the Euphoria premiere, she responded with a playful subtweet featuring a nerd, a banana, and an ice cube emoji.

TopMob News had reached out to reps Natasha and Delta for comment but did not hear back.
