She’s been out of touch for nearly nine months, and there are reasons why she didn’t announce her pregnancy earlier. I can only hint that the upcoming events will be surprising!

We had an extensive storyline prepared, but unfortunately had to shorten it due to Ian Smith’s deteriorating health. It was a pleasure to see Ian and Anne Charleston acting together again, even though we can’t disclose the character Anne will portray. I’m certain there won’t be a single dry eye when these episodes air.

Yaz’s deadly revenge on Holly

As a seasoned television writer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the storyline involving Yaz and Holly has been one of the most intriguing and complex we’ve ever crafted here at Erinsborough. From the moment Yaz arrived in town, it seemed like trouble was never far behind for Holly – but is she really as innocent as she appears? With so many unanswered questions swirling around her, I can understand why Yaz wants nothing more than to get to the bottom of things and find out the truth.

The Erinsborough Lights Up event in early January was one of our best episodes yet, building tension and suspense masterfully as we delved deeper into Holly’s mysterious past. And while she has certainly had her fair share of calamities since joining the cast, I have a feeling that bigger things are on the horizon for Holly – something big enough to shake up Erinsborough in a major way!

As a writer, it’s always exciting to see a character like Holly take center stage and become such a focal point for our audience. I can’t wait to see where her story goes next and how Yaz reacts as they both navigate the ups and downs of life in Erinsborough.

Meet Remi’s brother

As a passionate screenwriter with years of experience under my belt, I am always eager to see fresh and diverse characters that bring depth and complexity to stories. In the upcoming production for 2025, I was thrilled to discover Taye, played by Lakota Johnson, who is Remi’s younger half-brother on her father’s side. The age difference between them has led to a somewhat estranged relationship, and I am intrigued by the opportunity to explore the reasons behind their separation and witness their journey towards understanding one another.

What struck me most was Lakota’s audition for a different role in this production. His energy, passion, and unique talent were so captivating that they inspired us to create the character of Taye specifically for him. I am excited about the potential for his character to evolve and bring humor, drama, and perhaps even redemption to the storyline. Fallon isn’t as financially well-off as the rest of the Sinclairs, and her upbringing has been distinctly different. The arrival of Fallon could cause a lot of strife among the residents of Erinsborough.

Seb wrecks Krista and Leo’s wedding?

Krista and Leo share a deep affection, yet they’re navigating some challenges together. Seb serves as a catalyst in revealing these issues, although he’s not the primary cause. Krista feels a sense of responsibility for Seb’s current situation, given that she was the one who initially introduced him to drugs. Her relentless efforts to reform Seb have led to friction with Leo. Their wedding is imminent, but it remains uncertain whether they will find their ‘happily ever after.’

In 2024, Jane experiences some heartache but soon embarks on a new romance that I’ve found particularly engaging – it’s a delight to see her stepping out of her comfort zone. Actress Annie Jones does an exceptional job portraying this character development.
