With over 1100 episodes, One Piece is a truly long-running anime, but you can’t find every episode on streaming services worldwide. Both the anime and manga are currently in their final story arc, and the anime is nearing the end of the Egghead Island arc. The Straw Hat pirates have left Wano and arrived on a futuristic island where they encounter Vegapunk and become involved in an assassination plot by the World Government. Since 2020, Netflix has been gradually adding episodes in seasons, releasing them every few months, and is now almost up to date with the latest content. They started adding the Zou Island arc in October, releasing it in three parts, and completed the arc on November 1st, 2025.
Netflix will begin streaming episodes 783-796 of the Whole Cake Island Arc on December 1st, 2025, with the rest of the arc arriving in future updates. Starting December 15th, 2025, they’ll also release remastered episodes from the East Blue Saga in batches. Meanwhile, new episodes of the Egghead Incident Arc will continue to be released as usual, leading up to the upcoming Elbaf Arc.
Netflix Will Stream One Piece’s Whole Cake Island Arc More Than 8 Years After Its Debut

The Whole Cake Island Arc, which began in April 2017, was a major turning point for Sanji’s story. After leaving Zou, Luffy and his crew originally intended to head to Wano Country, but their plans changed when they discovered Sanji had left on his own and traveled to Whole Cake Island with Capone Bege. Determined to rescue their friend, they set off unaware of the painful secrets from Sanji’s past that were about to be revealed.
The Straw Hat crew is dividing into two groups: one heading to Wano Country with Trafalgar Law, and the other setting out to rescue Sanji and then meet up with the first group. The story has already established that Sanji is originally from the North Blue, but the reason he’s been living on his own in the East Blue since childhood remains a mystery. We’ll finally learn the answer to that question and discover the traumatic events that shaped Sanji into who he is today.
The upcoming story arc will primarily focus on Big Mom, one of the most powerful pirates in the world, as the main villain. However, Luffy will have a direct showdown with a different member of her crew. Luffy and his team have been building up conflict with the Big Mom Pirates since the Fish-Man Island adventure, and now that conflict is about to explode.
