A popular, often overlooked anime series on Netflix will conclude next year with its final episodes. A new trailer has been released, and Netflix has announced a general timeframe for the release. In recent years, Netflix has become a major player in anime, adapting its release strategies to better serve fans. This series marks the end of an era for one of Netflix’s biggest exclusive titles next spring.
Good news for fans of Beastars: the final episodes will be released on Netflix in March 2026! To build excitement, Netflix has just released a new trailer offering a first glimpse of how the story will conclude. You can watch the trailer now to prepare for the finale.
What to Know for Beastars: Final Season Part 2
I’m hearing that Beastars: Final Season Part 2 is expected to come out around March 2026, though Netflix hasn’t given us an official date just yet. The latest trailer also showed off the ending theme song, “Tiny Light,” which will be sung by SEVENTEEN. As for the voice actors, Shinichiro Miki will be voicing Yahya, Shigeru Chiba will be Gosha, Koji Okino will be Melon, Tessho Genda will be Sagwan, and Fumiko Orikasa will be Seven. It sounds like they’ve added some other new voices to the cast as well.
The cast for the final episodes expands with Houko Kuwashima as Leano, Yuko Minaguchi as Toki, Tomokazu Seki as Deshico, Ryusei Nakao as Cornu, Genki Muro as Sunaga, Ruriko Aoki as Azuki, and Tomokazu Sugita as Holger. The team behind the first part of the final season—directors Shinichi Matsumi and Nanami Higuchi, and animation studio Studio Orange—also returns for these episodes.
What’s Special About Beastars?

The anime Beastars has been a stunning success, exceeding all expectations for CG animation. Before Orange studio began pushing the boundaries of CG technology, anime fans often had concerns about this style. Beastars truly showcased a new era for anime, and it paved the way for other series, like Trigun, to be successfully reimagined with CG animation as well.
Beastars, created by Paru Itagaki (who has since worked on many other popular anime), offers a deep and complex look at a world populated by animals. While films like Zootopia have explored the idea of animal societies resembling our own, this show delves into the more challenging and darker aspects of that concept. You can find it streaming on Netflix.
