Netflix Falls in Love With Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gojo
It began with a playful tweet from Netflix Brazil – translated from Portuguese – that read like a desperate plea to the character Satoru Gojo: “Date me, please! I’m begging you. It’s not a joke, I’m a mess trying to tell you this. I’m really hurting. Please, date me, for the love of God.” The tweet quickly became popular, as fans appreciated Netflix’s enthusiastic affection for Gojo – a sentiment many viewers share.
She followed up with an even funnier tweet, explaining she needed to vent. While grateful for the support, she asked fans to respect her privacy. She shared that while she was with her family, a group of teenagers recognized her and loudly asked if she was Satoru Gojo’s girlfriend, which felt like a violation of her personal space. She confirmed their guess but emphasized she still deserves boundaries. Many fans strongly related to this, understanding how intense the passion for Gojo can be.
What Happened to Gojo?
It’s been a while since fans have seen much of Satoru Gojo on Netflix and in Jujutsu Kaisen. After Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 began the Shibuya Incident, Gojo was trapped in the Prison Realm. This allowed a fake Suguru Geto to carry out his plans for Japan, which are still playing out now through the Culling Game as we head into the next season.
A new season of Jujutsu Kaisen is officially happening! It will continue the story with the next stage of the Culling Game. The creators have hinted that Gojo might escape from the Prison Realm, meaning we could see him fight again soon.
