December is almost over, which means Netflix is preparing to remove some movies and shows from its streaming service. Many comic book-based titles will be leaving in January, so if you’re a fan, make sure to watch them before the end of the month!

Superhero movies are incredibly popular, especially those from Marvel (MCU) and DC (DCU). These franchises release films in theaters, and most of them end up on streaming services like Disney+ (for Marvel) and HBO Max (for DC). But a growing number of superhero films are also available on Netflix, though eight titles will be leaving the platform by the end of 2025.

Despite being a Warner Bros. film, you can now watch 2023’s Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom on Netflix. This sequel to Aquaman is the last movie in the original DC cinematic universe, and it follows the superhero as he battles Black Manta once again to protect his kingdom.
