A fantastic show currently available on Netflix will be removed from the platform very soon. If you haven’t seen it yet, now’s the time to watch all the episodes – many viewers consider it one of the best thriller series ever made.
As we get closer to 2026, Netflix will be adding lots of new shows and movies, including both fresh releases and beloved classics. However, Netflix also removes content, so some popular series – even ones that have been available for a long time – will be moving to other streaming services.
Mr. Robot Leaves Netflix On January 5 – Why You Should Binge
The popular show Mr. Robot, a psychological drama with cyber thriller elements, will leave Netflix on January 5, 2026. Unlike some content disappearing on January 1st, you’ll still be able to watch Mr. Robot for a few days into the new year.
Whether you watched Mr. Robot when it first came out ten years ago, or discovered it later and quickly watched all the episodes, it’s a show that holds up really well on repeat viewings. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can still catch it on Netflix for a limited time and see what everyone’s been talking about.
Mr. Robot, created by Sam Esmail (who later co-created Prime Video’s Homecoming and directed Netflix’s Leave the World Behind), centers around a highly skilled computer hacker on a mission to destroy a dishonest company. The show launched Rami Malek into stardom, and he later won an Oscar for Best Actor for his role as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.
Mr. Robot Is One Of The Greatest Psychological Thriller Series Ever
During the rise of binge-watching in the 2010s, Mr. Robot was a standout show. It was fast-moving, featured a compelling but flawed main character, explored interesting ideas about money and power, and had excellent acting – all of which made it incredibly engaging and easy to get lost in.
Even after a decade, Mr. Robot remains a compelling and high-quality show, solidifying its place as a classic in television history. With so many options available on streaming services like Netflix – especially with all the new releases and seasonal content – committing to a longer, older thriller with 45 episodes might seem daunting.
Check out the first episode on Netflix this week to see if you’ll enjoy the show. It’s your last opportunity to watch this Emmy-winning series on Netflix for a while.
