’90s kids, this one’s for you. The Animaniacs are getting their first wave of Funko Pops since 2016! Created by Tom Ruegger and executive produced by Steven Spielberg (as part of his Amblin Entertainment partnership with Warner Bros.), the Animaniacs became an iconc show, and the new drop includes the Warner siblings Dot, Wakko, and Yakko, all with expressions that mirror their personalities. But that’s not all!
Apart from them, you’ll encounter Slappy Squirrel and her comedy segment within the show itself. Lastly, don’t forget to stay tuned for Pinky & The Brain, a duo of lab rats striving to conquer the world. They eventually spun off into their own series, but it was all initiated on Animaniacs.

It might not be a secret, or it could be, but here’s an interesting fact: Have you ever considered delving into the vast archive of comics based on the animated series, Animaniacs? This popular trio has quite a history. Initially produced by DC, these comics were published for five years between 1995 and 2000. There are more than 60 issues of Animaniacs, not to mention the additional ones when you count the joint series with Pinky & The Brain, titled Animaniacs! Featuring Pinky and the Brain. With the reboot of Animaniacs in 2020, some fans speculated that new comic projects might be on the horizon. Regrettably, this did not materialize, and the reboot show concluded in 2023. If you’re intrigued about other shows that had a comic book presence, take a look at Comicbook’s article by Liz Wyatt to explore other unusual comic/TV show ventures.
