
Okay, so Hollow Knight: Silksong totally blew up when it came out in 2025, and I just saw that Team Cherry announced it’s already sold seven million copies! That’s insane, honestly. It’s amazing to see a game I love doing so well.
So, if you’re like me and have already explored every nook and cranny of Hornet’s story, get ready for some amazing news! They’re planning a huge new expansion called Sea of Sorrow, and it’s going to add a ton to the main game in 2026. I’m so excited!

Get ready for more adventures with Hornet! Our new, free expansion, themed around the sea, will add new areas, challenging bosses, and useful tools. We’re keeping most of the details under wraps for now, but we’ll share more information soon before the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong – Sea of Sorrow.
The Hollow Knight team is creating an update for the first game, bringing new, yet-to-be-detailed features and bug fixes to all platforms, including PlayStation 4.
