The anime had to pause production because it was catching up to the ongoing manga story, but that’s no longer an issue. The manga has now finished its 11-year run, giving the anime team the freedom to fully adapt the last two story arcs without worrying about staying ahead of the source material.

When Does Black Clover Season 2 Come Out?

Season 2 of Black Clover is expected to premiere in October 2026. While an exact release date hasn’t been revealed yet, Crunchyroll will be the exclusive streaming platform for new episodes as they air in Japan.
