The sixteenth season of *Bob’s Burgers* starts this Sunday, September 28th, and with it comes a fresh set of Funko Pop figures. Fans of the show have enjoyed new episodes, but it’s been a while since new Funko Pops were released – this is the first wave since the movie-inspired figures came out in 2022.
The Funko Pop figure of Gayle and Mr. Business is arguably the most charming and unexpected release. While some might have predicted Gayle’s inclusion in a Pop & Buddy set, many fans will be happy to see this lesser-known character represented. Pairing her with her cat, Mr. Business, is a particularly clever use of the Pop & Buddy format, and in my opinion, the best one so far.
Besides the Gayle figurine, fans can also find a Bob Belcher Pop! based on the episode “The Oeder Games.” There are also figures of Cavlid Fischoeder, Bob’s landlord and the show’s main villain, and Jimmy Jr., Tina’s crush and the son of Bob’s rival, Jimmy Pesto. The new season of *Bob’s Burgers*, Season 16, is almost here, and fans can’t wait to see what happens with the Belchers! This season is especially exciting because it includes the show’s 300th episode. Plus, there’s even more good news: Fox has renewed *Bob’s Burgers* for four additional seasons.
Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard expressed relief at the show’s renewal for four more seasons. While grateful for the long-term commitment, he admitted the show wasn’t always a guaranteed success. ‘We were definitely worried for a while,’ Bouchard said. ‘Any show that doesn’t immediately become a huge hit – and we weren’t, initially – feels like it’s on shaky ground, and we approached it that way.’
