
Crunchyroll recently released a new English dub as part of its Spring 2026 anime lineup. What’s unique about this dub is that the voice actor for a key character isn’t being revealed until after all the episodes are released. With the Spring 2026 season now a month in, many fans are enjoying the new anime, and several shows have received English dubs. This particular dub is generating extra buzz because of the mystery surrounding one of its main characters.
Crunchyroll has released the English dub of Needy Girl Overdose, along with the names of the voice actors. However, similar to the original Japanese version, they’re keeping the identity of the actor who voices KAngel/Ame-chan a secret until the show finishes airing. This adds to the already mysterious and unique story that fans can now experience in the English dub of Needy Girl Overdose.

The English dub of Needy Girl Overdose is now available on Crunchyroll, with the first episode released on May 2nd and new episodes coming out every week. What Is Needy Girl Overdose?

Directed by Masaoki Nakajima at Yostar Pictures, Needy Girl Overdose is based on a story by nyalra, who also wrote the lyrics for the opening song, āInternet Angel.ā The character designs are by Ohisashiburi, Kenji Saikai, Akari Takei, and Umito Shimizu. The music was composed by Aiobahn +81, Sasuke Haraguchi, and DĆ DĆ MOUSE.
The anime Needy Girl Overdose is adapted from the video game of the same name, created by Xemono and WSS Playground. In the game, players help Ame-chan manage her life and online streams as she strives for internet fame. The game featured over 20 different endings, some of which were quite disturbing, and it’s currently unknown how these will be portrayed in the anime.
