I’m really excited for the return of *Jujutsu Kaisen* with Season 3, scheduled for Winter 2026! A recent reveal has definitely increased the anticipation. The story has taken a dramatic turn with the Shibuya Incident, and things will never be the same in the jujutsu world. It’s heartbreaking to see the young sorcerers risking everything to protect the country, especially when it seems the higher-ups view Satoru Gojo and Yuji Itadori as threats. The arrival of Yuta Okkotsu is going to be a game-changer, and it looks like he’ll be facing off against Yuji. The trailer showed a really intense fight between two of Gojo’s students, which was shocking. And even though things are falling apart, the trailer reminded us that Gojo is still out there, trapped in the Prison Realm but planning his return.
I recently saw that *Jujutsu Kaisen* is having an animation exhibition in December, and they’ve been releasing some cool merchandise to promote it, including items featuring Satoru Gojo. The exhibition’s official website showed off the new merchandise, which includes original artwork of the characters that stays true to the story. Interestingly, one of the new illustrations really reminded me of Gojo’s appearance when he emerged from the Prison Realm to confront Kenjaku – the villain who had taken over Suguru Geto’s body. Here’s a look at the new design!
New Jujutsu Kaisen Visual Hypes Gojo’s Battle Against the Main Villains
Honestly, it’s crazy to think that Gojo was already stuck in the Prison Realm *before* the Shibuya Incident even really kicked off! His vanishing act immediately threw everyone into chaos, and it led to this unbelievably brutal fight. So many sorcerers were lost, it was devastating. But the students didn’t even have a moment to grieve because they had to focus on stopping Kenjaku and figuring out how to get Gojo back. And trust me, when Gojo *does* return, the story is going to take a turn nobody saw coming – it’s going to be wild!
Gojo won’t be back on screen for a while, but his return is expected to be a huge, exciting moment for fans. It will also kick off the final story arc, known as the Shinjuku Showdown, where Gojo answers Ryomen Sukuna’s challenge. This leads to what many consider one of the best fights in recent shonen anime, keeping fans completely captivated for months. The fight essentially marks the end of the *Jujutsu Kaisen* series, which concluded while incredibly popular.
Fans have been waiting a long time to see this version of the character animated, and this is the first official anime appearance of this look. It’s a very popular outfit from the series, and its early reveal might hint at what’s coming in Season 3. With the end of the Culling Game arc, this new look has understandably generated a lot of excitement. As the arc is both the second-to-last and largest in the series, it’s currently unknown how many episodes Season 3 will contain, or if it will be split into two parts to maintain a good pace.
