While the leaks haven’t revealed which sides Magneto and Scarlet Witch will be on, there are some likely possibilities. Many fans have asked for Magneto to be included in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, and his history in Marvel vs Capcom games makes him a predictable choice. For example, with Ghost Rider possibly assembling a team called the Midnight Suns, Scarlet Witch could become a member. The Midnight Suns are typically a group of heroes – including characters like Doctor Strange, Blade, and even Morbius – who fight against supernatural dangers.

Over Abundance Of Characters From One Side Of Marvel Limits Other Interesting Additions

A major concern with adding Magneto and Scarlet Witch as regular playable characters is that they feel like just more fighters from the X-Men. While the X-Men boast a wide range of popular characters that fans want to see in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls – like Cyclops, Rogue, Gambit, and Nightcrawler – a good fighting game needs a balanced roster and shouldn’t rely too heavily on characters from a single team.

When choosing team members, it wouldn’t be ideal if Captain America’s team only included heroes who used to be X-Men.
