The latest news about Masters of the Universe explains why Prince Adam left Eternia and shows him turning into He-Man. But there’s still more to see! A new video reveals how Prince Adam arrived on Earth, offers a detailed look at his transformation, and features even more action from his fights with Skeletor and the Skel-Knights. Amazon MGM Studios has released a new clip from their upcoming Masters of the Universe movie, titled Who Is He-Man?. The clip shows a young Prince Adam training with Man-At-Arms and his father, King Randor, before Skeletor attacks. For the first time, we see Prince Adam discover the Power Sword and use a portal to travel to Earth with it. Previously, we’d only seen him running with Queen Marlena.
The New Masters of the Universe Footage Showcases How Powerful He-Man Really Is
The trailer heavily features the conflict between He-Man and Skeletor’s army. We see He-Man easily defeat a group of Skel-Knights, sending them all flying. The trailer also shows Adam’s transformation into He-Man, highlighting his famous chest emblem. Finally, we get glimpses of the fight between He-Man and Skeletor, which, despite being short, have increased anticipation for the full battle.
It’s striking how strong He-Man already is when he returns, but it seems like he’s not even using his full potential. Skeletor hints at this, telling He-Man he’s holding back. Will we see He-Man unleash even more power later in the movie?
An earlier artwork hinted at a stronger Skeletor, showing him with the Power Sword. However, it’s unclear when this happens. Prince Adam brings the sword back to Eternia, but loses it during a first fight with Skeletor, after being captured and imprisoned with the other heroes.
He obtains the item during a fight with Skeletor’s army, but it’s unclear if this happens before or after he’s captured. We haven’t seen Skeletor use it at all in the trailers. We’ll have to wait for the movie to come out to find out more.
Masters of the Universe is set to hit theaters on June 5th, 2026.
