The highly anticipated One Piece: Elbaph Arc is set to begin a new chapter for the series, debuting on the Spring 2026 anime schedule. Episode 1156 will kick off this major arc, following Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they journey toward the legendary island of the giants. A sneak peek of the episode is available now before its official release.
When Does One Piece Episode 1156 Come Out?
Episode 1156 of One Piece will debut in Japan on Sunday, April 5th as part of the Spring 2026 anime season. Fans in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America can watch it on Crunchyroll. Starting April 11th, the episodes will also be available on Netflix. Currently, there’s no information about when English dubs will be released, but some new voice actors have been confirmed for this upcoming batch of episodes.
I’m so hyped for the One Piece: Elbaph Arc! They’ve added some amazing voice actors – Yuichi Nakamura will be playing Loki, Ryota Takeuchi is Road, and Ayane Sakura is Gerd. Plus, the new opening theme, “Luminous” by Aina The End, and ending theme, “Sono Mirai” by 36km/h, sound incredible! Thankfully, we don’t have to wait much longer to see all of this unfold. With 26 more episodes planned for the rest of the year, One Piece is really bringing the heat!

Episode 1156 of One Piece, titled “The Long-sought Elbaph! The Big Reunion Banquet,” promises a joyful reunion for Luffy and his crew with the Giant Pirate Crew. The episode shows them enjoying a massive feast as they set sail for the long-awaited island of Elbaph, filled with excitement for what lies ahead. It’s the beginning of a brand new adventure!
