Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment officially revealed Star Wars Zero Company in April 2025, but fans had been expecting a new strategy game for quite some time. This makes Star Wars Zero Company one of the most eagerly awaited sci-fi games coming out. While the game has been slated for a 2026 release, we haven’t seen much of the actual gameplay yet. That’s about to change, and we might also get a firm release date soon.
The official Star Wars account on Twitter announced that a new gameplay trailer for Star Wars Zero Company will be revealed at Summer Game Fest on June 5th at 5 PM Eastern Time. While most of the event’s lineup remains a secret, we now know Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment will showcase new footage of their upcoming Star Wars strategy game. It’s also likely we’ll finally learn when the game will be released.
Star Wars Zero Company Confirmed for New Trailer During Summer Game Fest
The team behind Star Wars Zero Company has a strong track record with Star Wars games, including the popular Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Because of this, fans are excited to learn more about this new title. Currently, we know Zero Company will be a single-player game where you command a squad in turn-based combat, set in the Star Wars universe. However, there hasn’t been much gameplay shown since it was first announced, leading some to question whether it will be released as planned in 2026.
We now have confirmation that Star Wars Zero Company will be showcased at Summer Game Fest. While the exact time isn’t set, it’s worth watching starting at 5 PM Eastern Time to catch the first look at gameplay. Gameplay trailers don’t always include release dates, but given that we’re already halfway through 2026, and Bit Reactor and Respawn are aiming for a 2026 launch, a release date announcement seems likely.
Even if Zero Company doesn’t announce a release date, the gameplay trailer should give us a good idea of what the game will be like. Plus, Star Wars fans are already getting one new game this year – Star Wars: Galactic Racer is coming out on October 6th.
