If you’re a longtime fan of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs) but need a break from coordinating with others, or if life’s just gotten hectic, there are great options for enjoying a similar experience on your own. Two popular games designed to capture the feel of an MMO without requiring group play have partnered to offer a discounted bundle on Steam. Each game focuses on different elements that make MMOs so appealing, making them a perfect pair for players looking for a solo adventure.
A new bundle on Steam combines two unique single-player games inspired by MMOs. Erenshor offers a peaceful, offline world that feels like a simulated MMO, while Don’t Lose Aggro is a challenging roguelite that lets you experience playing an MMO tank on your own. Both games have recently reached important moments – Erenshor has been in Early Access for a year, and Don’t Lose Aggro just launched – making this bundle a great way to get both games at a discounted price.
MMO Simulation Bundle Delivers MMORPG-Style Goodness for Solo Gamers

If you enjoy aspects of massively multiplayer online games (MMOs) but prefer to play alone, some single-player games offer a similar experience. The MMO Simulation bundle demonstrates that there are many ways to capture the best parts of MMOs for solo players. MMOs are known for their huge worlds, diverse activities – like exploring dungeons, adventuring across landscapes, and relaxing with fishing or cooking – and this bundle showcases how those enjoyable elements can be successfully translated into single-player games. Both Erenshor and Don’t Lose Aggro exemplify the breadth of what players love about MMOs and prove that magic can happen even when you’re playing solo.
Erenshor is a single-player RPG designed to feel like playing a classic MMO. The game features a large open world populated by characters called SimPlayers, who recreate the enjoyable aspects of group adventures without the usual hassles of coordinating with others. It aims to capture the full MMO experience, including the leveling up process and even the repetitive tasks. Released in Early Access in April 2025, Erenshor has received a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam after its first year. The complete version 1.0 is planned for 2027, and the price will increase at that time. If you’re interested, it’s a good idea to buy it now while it’s still in Early Access and available with discounts.

I recently checked out Don’t Lose Aggro, and it’s a really cool take on the MMO experience! It’s not trying to be a whole MMO you play by yourself, which I appreciate. Instead, it’s a roguelite that focuses on the fun of dungeon crawling. You play as the tank, and you’ve got a party of NPCs who join you to tackle tough bosses. Honestly, if you love dungeons and raids in MMOs but are tired of dealing with guild drama, this could be perfect for you. It just came out in Early Access a few days ago, but the initial reactions are really positive so far!
Gamers can save 10% by purchasing both Erenshor and Don’t Lose Aggro as a bundle. Erenshor is available in Early Access for $20, and Don’t Lose Aggro costs $10. Buying them together is about $3 cheaper than buying each game separately. While it’s not a huge savings, getting a discount on both games is a good deal, especially right now.
