The six-episode thriller, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, originally launched on MGM+ in the US earlier this year. Now, the BBC has picked it up and it will debut in the UK today.
Anthony Horowitz wrote and created the original series. It centers around a plane crash in the Mexican jungle, and follows the experiences of the passengers, crew, and pilot who survive.
The atmosphere grows tighter and more nerve-wracking as the characters are eliminated one by one, each shocking event revealing more of the truth until a stunning final surprise.

Eric McCormack as Kevin Anderson

Kevin Anderson is a former doctor who now sells medical supplies. According to McCormack, Kevin is initially a somewhat enigmatic character because he deliberately keeps people at a distance. He’s revealed to be running from a difficult divorce and past disappointments, but viewers learn more about his story as the show goes on.
You probably recognize Eric McCormack from his popular role as Will on the TV show *Will & Grace*. He’s also appeared in *Travelers*, *Perception*, *Slasher*, and *The Other Black Girl*.
David Ajala as Zack

I’ve heard about Zack – he’s an insurance professional, and incredibly, he stayed calm and collected even after surviving a plane crash. It’s amazing how he handled such a terrifying situation!
You might recognize David Ajala from his appearances in popular shows like Supergirl, Star Trek: Discovery, and Falling Water. He’s also been in Nightflyers, The Ready Room, and The Jetty.
Lydia Wilson as Sonja Blair

Sonja is a British photographer with a mysterious side. According to Wilson, she’s adapted well to the jungle environment, perhaps even better than some of the others, but she’s also dealing with personal struggles.
Okay, so you’re wondering where you recognize Lydia Wilson from? I get it – she’s one of those incredibly familiar faces! I’ve definitely seen her pop up in a few things I’ve watched. She’s done some great work on shows like *Ripper Street*, *Flack*, and more recently, *The Swarm*. But it’s not just TV; she’s a seasoned stage actress too, with a lot of theatre experience under her belt.
Jan Le as Amy Maclean

Amy is a rich woman traveling with her husband, and she’s struggling to cope after the crash. The actor playing her hinted that she impulsively married him despite barely knowing him.
Where have I seen Jan Le? Le has featured in EastEnders, Grace, The Capture, DI Ray and Atlanta.
Adam Long as Dan Maclean

Dan is a newlywed, recently married to Amy. However, they quickly realize they don’t know each other as well as they thought.
You might recognize Adam Long from shows like Happy Valley, Bancroft, The Bay, Wolfe, and Masters of the Air. He’s a British actor who’s appeared in those popular series.
Siobhán McSweeney as Lisa Davies

Lisa is a successful businesswoman who travels with her husband. She’s known for offering discounts to customers who display a Trump sticker on their car, reflecting her strong beliefs and self-assured personality.
You probably recognize Siobhán McSweeney from her popular role in *Derry Girls*. She’s also recently been on TV hosting *The Traitors Ireland* and acting in *Amandaland*, plus she’s appeared in *Holding* and *Extraordinary*.
Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Travis Davies

So, there’s this couple, Travis and Lisa, who really built themselves up from nothing. They’re originally from the South and now own a bunch of hotels. Someone – Ólafsson, I think – described them as super resilient, which I totally get. They seem like they’ve overcome a lot to get where they are.
You might recognize Ólafur Darri Ólafsson from shows like Severance, Somebody Somewhere, and Trapped, or the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. He’s also a voice actor, having worked on Ice Age, Kung Fu Panda, and Lilo & Stitch.
Peter Gadiot as Carlos García Méndez

Carlos is one of the people on the plane. He’s a professional wrestler who’s also surprisingly good at fixing things.
Okay, so you’re wondering where you recognize Peter Gadiot? I totally get it! He’s been popping up in a lot of great stuff. I first noticed him in ‘Queen of the South,’ but he’s also been in ‘Yellowjackets’ and the recent ‘Quantum Leap’ reboot. If you’re a fantasy fan, you might remember him from ‘Once Upon A Time in Wonderland,’ and he’s also had roles in ‘Silo’ and ‘Matador.’ He’s quickly becoming one of those actors you *always* recognize, even if you can’t quite place the name!
