The upcoming game, titled Ninja Gaiden 4, developed collaboratively by PlatinumGames and Team Ninja, is generating positive feedback from initial hands-on previews. Although it’s scheduled for release, the developers have plans to incorporate additional content post-launch, which includes introducing new weapons for Ryu Hayabusa.
According to Masakazu Hirayama, Team Ninja’s director, extra weaponry will be available as DLC and comes with the Deluxe Edition. But he also mentioned that there’s more gameplay content on the way that extends beyond just additional weapons. He promised to share more information about this upcoming content at a later date.
At present, the novice, Yakumo, possesses three displayed weapons, one of which is a ferocious drill, with a fourth yet to be presented down the line. On the other hand, Ryu Hayabusa currently wields only the Dragon Sword, though it remains uncertain if this is his sole weapon; keep an eye out for further developments in this regard.
On October 21st, Ninja Gaiden 4 will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. Similar to other games, it will be available for play at Xbox’s Gamescom booth from August 20th to 24th.
