Nintendo Direct for June 2026 Taking Place This Week

Nintendo has confirmed that its highly anticipated Direct presentation will happen tomorrow, continuing a yearly tradition. These Directs are usually major events, showcasing upcoming games for Nintendo consoles over the next year. Get ready – Nintendo is planning to reveal a lot of exciting news very soon!

Okay, so Nintendo just announced a new Direct for tomorrow, June 9th! It’s starting at 10am Eastern / 7am Pacific. They haven’t said what they’re showing off yet, but it’s going to be about 50 minutes long. And that’s not all – right after the Direct, they’re doing a Treehouse: Live stream that’s almost two hours long! It sounds like they’ll be diving deeper into some of the games they reveal in the Direct, which is awesome.

Looking at the games Nintendo plans to release for the Switch 2, we can predict a few titles that will be featured in their upcoming Direct presentation. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is expected to be a major release in 2026, and since we haven’t seen much gameplay yet, it’s likely to be a key focus of the Direct.

Reliable sources suggest Nintendo is working on a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, expected to release sometime in 2026. If these reports are true, we’ll likely get our first look at the game tomorrow.

As always, Nintendo is likely to reveal some unexpected announcements during this Direct presentation. If you can’t watch it live, don’t worry! We’ll have all the biggest news from the event right here on ComicBook as it happens.
