Before its full launch later this week, the official Nioh 3 Twitter account announced that the playable demo has been downloaded one million times. The demo has been available for PlayStation 5 and PC players for the past week.
It’s impressive how much positive feedback the demo has gotten! Players seem particularly excited that their demo progress transfers to the full game. Reviewers are praising the open level design and the combat, which successfully mixes fresh ideas – like the Style Switching mechanic – with elements fans already love from the series.
In Nioh 3, you play as Tokugawa Takechiyo, the future Shogun, who travels through time and across ancient Japan to fix the damage caused by his treacherous brother. But he’ll face a huge army of soldiers and supernatural creatures along the way.
Launching on February 6th, Nioh 3 promises stylish and impactful combat thanks to its unique Samurai and Ninja fighting styles, along with a variety of other exciting features. If you’re considering buying the game, here’s some information to help you decide.
The #Nioh3 demo has hit 1 million downloads!
A big THANK YOU to everyone who has enjoyed the demo so far!
