Hello Games has just released a new update for No Man’s Sky called Breach. While not as large as the Voyagers update, Breach introduces a new Expedition where players explore a decaying universe and recover parts from wrecked corvettes. This introduces a new gameplay feature: players can now venture outside their ships to use their Multi-Tool to dismantle these wrecks.
Now you can add new parts to personalize your Corvette, like weapons, connectors, and unique wedge-shaped modules. You’ll also explore purple star systems filled with strange and dangerous things, including deep oceans, bizarre creatures, and huge, unpredictable gas giants.
As a huge fan, I’m really excited about the new Breach update! It’s not just bug fixes and improvements – though there are plenty of those – but they’ve also made snapping feel much better, collisions are way more reliable now, and you can finally customize your entire Corvette with different colors! It really feels like a polished experience.
No Man’s Sky is now available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Since its initially disappointing release in 2016, the game has received many major updates, and the developers at Hello Games plan to continue adding new content.
The studio is also developing a new game called Light No Fire. It’s set on a dynamically generated version of Earth and is being designed as a completely open-world experience.
