It’s no surprise at this point, but No Man’s Sky has just gotten another free update, bringing even more new content to the game’s universe.
This update is named Breach, and it’s out now on all platforms, including PS5 and PS4:
Breach just got a major update with the addition of space wrecks – broken-down spaceships you can investigate and take apart for useful materials.
The last update, Voyagers, let players design and build their own spaceships and experience spacewalks. Now, with Breach, we’re expanding on those features, offering more activities in zero gravity and new ways to gather resources for building ship components.
Sean Murray sums it up well in a press release:
Our new BREACH update brings exciting space wrecks to explore, letting you experience the freedom of spacewalking and rewarding your curiosity. Exploring these wrecks lets you salvage tons of new parts for building ships – something many players have asked for! We’ve also made big improvements to ship building itself, inspired by how much time players already love spending in the workshop crafting their perfect ships.
Additionally, the Breach update introduces a new expedition that explores these newly discovered space wrecks, allowing players to unlock new ship parts, some of which are inspired by the Atlas.
The game also sends players to unique, purple-star systems that feature more untamed and exciting planets to discover.
This No Man’s Sky update isn’t as massive as some past ones, but it still adds more content to an already incredibly full game. There’s always something new to discover and do!
