Okay, so Moon Studios just announced that co-op is finally coming to No Rest for the Wicked! They’re calling it the “Together” update and it’s hitting the Early Access version on January 22, 2026. Even better, they’ve got an open beta running right now until December 22, so I’m jumping in to test it out!
Here is an overview of the update and game, via Moon Studios:
Moon Studios revealed new footage of cooperative gameplay and shared details about the upcoming “No Rest for the Wicked: Together” update. This major update will finally let players team up for combat, share resources, build homesteads, and more, all within persistent online worlds supporting up to four players. Studio director Thomas Mahler announced the update will launch on January 22, 2026, and a public beta test with early content is available now for all game owners.
In No Rest for the Wicked, the latest game from Moon Studios, you play as a Cerim – a member of a powerful, holy order. Your mission is to stop the Pestilence, an ancient plague that’s destroying the troubled island of Isola Sacra. Explore a beautifully dark and painted world, fighting against corrupted creatures, ruthless bandits, and bizarre beasts. Develop your Cerim from a vulnerable beginner into a formidable warrior, mastering various weapons, magical enhancements, and clever strategies to defeat your enemies.
Currently, the game No Rest for the Wicked is available on PC through Steam in Early Access. The developers plan to fully release the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC at a later date.
