She jokingly added that they’ve already had this happen publicly, and it was embarrassing.

Kim shared that North, who typically prefers a more casual, traditionally masculine style, doesn’t pay attention to what people say about her appearance.

My daughter is very self-assured. She’ll tell me, ‘Mom, I don’t worry about what people think of my appearance – whether it’s my blue hair or anything else.’ She’s confident enough to know she wouldn’t want to associate with anyone who judges her for being herself.

I’ve noticed Kim really encourages North to be herself, especially with her style. Kim says North does take her advice sometimes, but when it comes to things like hair color, she completely lets North decide. She’s said that if North wants blue hair, that’s okay! It just makes her so happy, and Kim would never want to stifle that creativity. It’s really lovely to see a parent support their child’s self-expression like that.
