North West Models for First Time in 5 Years in New SKIMS Campaign

North West is cozying up for Christmas.

Twelve-year-old North West teamed up with her mom, Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand SKIMS, to reveal a cozy new fall outfit that’s expected to be very popular this season.

Photos posted on Instagram on November 17th showed North West wearing a black hoodie and sweatpants designed in collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market. The hoodie featured a cartoon gingerbread cookie with the SKIMS logo on it.

She showcased long braids with her vibrant blue, cyberpunk-inspired hair, playfully twirling them in one of the videos. The advertisement concluded with her stating, “Everyone is wearing SKIMS.”

Kim Kardashian, who is also a mother to Saint, Chicago, and Psalm with her ex-husband Kanye West, expressed how proud she is of her daughter for returning to a SKIMS advertising campaign. This is the first time her daughter has been in a SKIMS campaign since 2020.

I’m absolutely thrilled to have North involved in this project – it truly makes it special for me. She has such a vibrant personality and really brings the designs to life. It’s been wonderful collaborating with her!

North is definitely taking after her mom, Kim, and developing her own unique sense of style. Although some of her fashion choices, like the temporary tattoos and piercings she wore last October, have drawn criticism, Kim has consistently expressed her support for North’s growing individuality.

“She really embraces her own passions,” the Kardashian family member shared with Complex Style in September. “It’s inspiring to watch someone be so creative and self-aware.”

Kim has also made an effort to let North express her own personal style and speak up about what she likes.

She said her daughter argued, ‘Mom, I’ve watched you do your makeup my entire life, sitting right with you! Your makeup artists have practically been my teachers, so why can’t I try it?’ And honestly, after hearing that, I thought, ‘You know what? Fine.’

Kim shared that becoming a mother is a constant learning process. She also expressed how much she loves her baby, describing her as a sweet and well-behaved little girl.
