North West’s smile is extra bright and she wants y’all to see it.
On April 14th, North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, shared videos on TikTok showing off her new gold grills – custom-made dental jewelry covering all of her upper and lower teeth. She paired the look with a skull t-shirt and other studded accessories.
Gabby Elan Jewelry created the grills, and they told People magazine that the hardware includes 20 caps made of 14-karat white gold.
The jeweler created three different grill sets for North—one in white gold, another in teal blue, and a third in candy apple red—and posted videos of them on Instagram. North also shared videos of herself wearing the red grill.
North has tried out many different grills, and was seen using a black one in some TikTok videos from January.
Kim North is well-known for her bold and individual style, often inspired by scene and emo fashion. She’s not afraid to experiment with striking looks, like edgy nail art and bleached eyebrows.
North West even made a rap song about her fashion choices, specifically her hand piercings, in a track called “Piercing on My Hand” with her dad. She performed it onstage with Kanye West during his concert on April 1st.
She raps about having a piercing on her hand and wearing jewelry. She emphasizes that true friendship requires understanding. She loves shopping in Japan and admits she was expelled from school after only two days.
The up-and-coming rapper recently displayed her fashion sense at Coachella, sporting a long, bright neon wig and an oversized black t-shirt while enjoying Justin Bieber’s performance. Her mother and Kim Kardashian’s new partner, Lewis Hamilton, were seen following close behind.
Kim Kardashian revealed in an October 2025 interview with Call Her Daddy that North does sometimes take her fashion advice. However, she also supports North’s self-expression, saying, “If she wants blue hair, that’s her choice.” Kardashian explained she wouldn’t want to stifle North’s creativity or happiness.
