Nothing Was Ever Going to Catch Resident Evil Requiem in PS Store’s February Chart

Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem is proving to be very popular, and recent download charts from the PlayStation Store confirm its success.

The recently released horror action game has topped the charts in both North America and Europe for PlayStation 5. It performed better than other new February releases, including titles like Nioh 3, Reanimal, and the surprise release of God of War: Sons of Sparta.

What’s really remarkable is that Requiem came out on February 27th, giving it just two days to climb the charts.

Reanimal performed well, ranking among the top 10 in both regions. Sons of Sparta also achieved a 10th-place finish in North America.

Besides those super hyped titles, the rest of the top 10 is filled with games I see every year – the usual sports releases, ARC Raiders, the next Call of Duty (Black Ops 7, apparently!), and, believe it or not, still Grand Theft Auto V. It’s crazy how popular that one remains!

Currently, the most downloaded game on PlayStation 4 is Red Dead Redemption 2. On the PSVR2, Alien: Rogue Incursion is the top download.
