Oasis’ Liam Gallagher Says Cheaters Are Safe at Their Concerts

Liam Gallagher won’t look back in anger at his unfaithful fans.

During a recent Coldplay performance, two individuals found themselves caught up in a supposed affair on the big screen. However, the lead singer of Oasis has emphasized that he has no intention of exposing any secret affairs while his band continues its current reunion tour.

In a video from an Oasis concert in the U.K. on July 20, Liam posed a question to the audience: “Is there anyone here with lovebirds at home?” Later, he jokingly commented, “Rest assured, we’re not doing any of that Coldplay-style, smug camera business.

The 52-year-old reassured the audience that their bandmate, Noel Gallagher – who is also his brother and the lead guitarist – would not condemn someone for being unfaithful.

Liam added, “We don’t care who you’re spending time with, or who you have feelings for, or are intimate with. It’s not our concern.

The rocker’s joke seemed to be a reference to the viral video from the July 16 Coldplay concert in Massachusetts, featuring two individuals thought to be former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his colleague, who were seen embracing on the jumbotron. Upon noticing the camera, they swiftly disappeared from sight, causing many to suspect that they might have been involved in something secretive or inappropriate.

After the spread of the video, it was revealed by an astronomer that Andy stepped down from his role as CEO following a thorough examination into the situation conducted by the company.

In a statement to TopMob News on July 19, the DataOps platform announced that Andy Byron has stepped down from his position, which was accepted by the Board of Directors. The company stated that Mr. Byron did not adhere to their code of conduct. The search for our next CEO will commence, with Co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy temporarily taking on the role in the interim.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but reflect on the moment when Coldplay showcased that affectionate duo under the spotlight during their performance. Yet, in an intimate confession soon afterward, my idol, Chris Martin, expressed his remorse over potentially revealing personal aspects of their lives to the public eye.

In a playful manner, the singer said, “Either they’re secretly dating or they’re incredibly shy,” when the two individuals vanished from the jumbotron view during the performance. Later, expressing regret for the unintentional disclosure, the singer added, “Oh dear, I hope we didn’t accidentally embarrass them.

At Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 15, Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin spotted a couple who appeared to have embraced when they noticed they were displayed on the stadium screen.

Martin explained to the gathering earlier, “We’ll be utilizing our cameras to accomplish that.” He then added, “Just check the screens when we arrive, and we’ll try to locate those of you who are present so we can greet each other.” First on their list was a delighted young man who received an unexpected happy birthday shout-out from Martin.

The singer remarked, “See those two over there,” as the camera momentarily focused on the snug duo. However, the man swiftly moved away and the lady, shielding her face with her hands, chose to face the opposite direction from the camera.

Martin joked, ‘They’re either in a secret relationship or extremely reserved.’ He admits he’s unsure about the situation.

After the woman moved from her spot and vanished among the crowd beyond her, the performer exclaimed, “Geez! I hope we didn’t act inappropriately.

At the event, Grace Springer recorded the memorable incident on video for future generations. By the end of that evening, online detectives managed to unmask the squirrel-like duo as CEO Andy Byron from Astronomer and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot. Swiftly, social media users like TikTokers and others figured out that both Byron and Cabot were already married to other individuals.

A short while later, Martin queried the duo that appeared on the screen, “Alright, could you tell me, are you two dating? Are you genuinely a couple?

It appears that Byron and Cabot, who used to work together, were recently seen attending a Coldplay concert. This event sparked quite a buzz on the internet. However, neither of them has issued any official statement about it yet. A supposed apology from Byron that went viral online was actually fake, as reported by Astronomer.

In different roles, Byron served as CEO for data operations company Astronomer, a name that might misleadingly suggest it’s related to space exploration, while Cabot continues to lead the company in the department of human resources.

Afterwards, both individuals removed their profiles from LinkedIn, and various sources claimed that Byron’s spouse deactivated her Instagram and Facebook accounts. It is said that they share two children together.

It is reported that Cabot is married to Andrew Cabot, who is the sixth-generation descendant of a rum distiller named Cabot dating back to the American Revolution. According to the Boston Globe, Andrew previously worked in tech but founded the spirits company called Privateer Rum in 2011. They have two children together.

The company Astronomer specializes in technology, offering a unified platform known as Astro. This platform, according to their website, allows teams to design, execute, and monitor data streams seamlessly, all under one roof.

Established in the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, back in 2018, this company also maintains operations in San Francisco and San Jose, California.

Byron joined the company as CEO in 2023 and Cabot came onboard in 2024.

In May 2025, Astronomer garnered $93 million in a Series D funding round that was headed by Bain Capital Ventures. They revealed this at the time, as reported by the New York Post. This substantial investment, they stated, is simply one milestone along their path towards creating a robust and enduring software company.

The funding raised the firm’s valuation to $740 million, according to the Economic Times.

The astronomer declared on July 18th that the board of directors had formally begun investigating the situation, and they made it clear that the supposed statement attributed to Byron was not authentic.

The company stated, “We astronomers uphold the principles and traditions that have been our foundation from the start.” They added, “It’s essential for our leaders to serve as role models, demonstrating integrity and responsibility in their behavior.

It was additionally mentioned that, among those visible in the tragic jumbotron video, excluding the couple at hand, none were employees of Astronomer. (The firm independently verified to the Associated Press that Cabot was the female companion of Byron in the recording.)

According to Pete DeJoy, co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Byron had taken a leave of absence from Astronomer as early as July 18. The following day, the company disclosed that he had subsequently tendered his resignation, with Pete DeJoy serving as interim CEO in the meantime.

Andy Byron has stepped down from his position, and the Board of Directors has agreed to this resignation. The Board is now initiating a hunt for our future CEO, with DeJoy set to carry on in his expanded role, as stated in a communication to TopMob News.

In a recent LinkedIn post dated July 21st, I expressed that the recent events have garnered an extraordinary level of media attention, something rarely experienced by even established companies, let alone startups in our niche data and AI sector. This unexpected limelight has felt strange for our team, but amidst it all, Astronomer has become a name recognized in homes across the nation. While I wouldn’t have chosen this path, the outcome has undeniably positioned us as a household name.

Martin couldn’t even begin to try to fix what happened, but he’s had some fun with it since.

At the initial Coldplay concert following the controversy on July 19, the lead vocalist from England reminded the audience gathered at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, that a few of them could possibly be featured on the giant screen.

“So please,” Martin said, “if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now.”
