Odessa A’zion & All X-Men Reboot Actors Rumored So Far

While Marvel hasn’t officially announced how the X-Men will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, rumors about who will play the famous mutants are spreading quickly. Many actors are being mentioned for these roles, but Marvel is staying tight-lipped about its plans.

Jake Schreier is directing the new version of the film, with Lee Sung Jin and Joanna Calo writing the screenplay. It’s currently planned to be released in theaters in 2028.

The post quickly went viral on X, racking up over 2.2 million views in just a few hours. At 28 years old, Sweeney is the right age for a character Marvel could feature in several upcoming movies. Emma Frost started as a villain – the White Queen of the Hellfire Club – before becoming a member of the X-Men.

Odessa A’zion as Rogue

According to Jeff Sneider on The Hot Mic podcast, Odessa A’zion is a potential candidate to play a role in the upcoming Marvel project, Rogue. A’zion has appeared in shows like the new Hellraiser series, Sitting in Bars with Cake, and Grand Army. Marvel seems to be looking for new, younger actors for its superhero teams, and Kevin Feige has suggested the MCU’s mutant characters will be heading in a fresh direction.

Peter Claffey as Beast

During a discussion with John Rocha, Jeff Sneider mentioned Peter Claffey as a possible choice to play Beast in the upcoming series. Claffey currently appears as Dunk in HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Sneider revealed on the show that he’s heard Claffey is being considered for the role. According to reports, Claffey will be back for Season 2, which is expected to be released in 2027.

Sadie Sink as Jean Grey

According to reports, Sadie Sink will be playing Jean Grey, and she’s expected to first appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. Jeff Sneider has confirmed the casting news. This will mark the first time Jean Grey is introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
