One Piece Creator Unveils New Look At Live-Action Nami After Season 2’s Success

It’s been over a week since the release of Netflix’s live-action One Piece Season 2, and excitement for the show is still going strong. After a wait of more than two years, the new season premiered on March 10, 2026, following the Straw Hat Pirates as they enter the Grand Line and encounter both friends and foes. Like the first season, this one also has eight episodes and takes some liberties with the original manga while staying true to the story’s heart. The season ends with a big cliffhanger: the Straw Hat Pirates gain a new member and set sail for Alabasta, the desert kingdom. Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has been heavily involved in promoting the live-action series, and Netflix is already gearing up for Season 3.

Oda also created a drawing of Emily Rudd, who plays Nami in the live-action series, which was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by @pewpiece, a trusted source for One Piece news.

Emily Rudd has received a lot of positive attention for her portrayal of Nami in the live-action series, and viewers have enjoyed her performance from the beginning. The show’s creator, Oda, personally selected each actor, including Rudd, and frequently expresses his gratitude for their work.

Netflix’s One Piece Season 3 Will Take The Crew to Alabasta

The newest season of the show is just the start of the crew’s adventures in the Grand Line. The crew will reach the island in the next season, which is already being filmed. Good news for fans – Season 3 is coming soon, as production started some time ago.

Season 3 is confirmed and a trailer was shown during One Piece Day last August, but we don’t know exactly when it will be released. The new season will focus on the Alabasta Arc and will reveal the Warlord’s true intentions, as well as why he needs Nico Robin.
