One Piece season 2 has unveiled an all-new trailer.
The latest trailer for One Piece season 2 gives us a better look at Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates’ initial journey into the Grand Line. This new season, officially titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, shows Luffy and his crew setting sail from East Blue, beginning their quest for the legendary One Piece treasure.
I’m so excited! Netflix just dropped the trailer for One Piece season 2, and it looks incredible. We’re finally seeing the Straw Hats enter the Grand Line, and it’s going to be a huge adventure. It seems like they’re immediately running into trouble with this group called Baroque Works – they’re clearly after Luffy and his crew, trying to stop them from reaching their goals. But it looks like Baroque Works has bigger plans than just taking down the Straw Hats, which is really intriguing!
The new trailer gives a better look at the key characters joining One Piece for season 2, including Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, and David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3. We also see a lot more of Chopper, the talking reindeer, voiced by Mikaela Hoover, and get our best glimpse yet of his powerful transformation.

The first season of One Piece concluded with Luffy and his crew setting their sights on the Grand Line. But before they enter this major new area, they’ll make a stop in Loguetown. This location will be key for the start of season 2, setting up everything the crew needs for the challenges ahead and showing how ready they are for their next adventure.
The trailer suggests the series will recreate several iconic moments from Eiichiro Oda’s original manga. Fans can expect to see scenes like the crew being swallowed by the whale Laboon, Zoro battling enemies during the Whiskey Peak arc, and the Straw Hats encountering dinosaurs and powerful members of Baroque Works on Little Garden.
One of the most exciting things revealed is how important a role Chopper will play in the story. Although he doesn’t appear until the Drum Island arc, which is at the end of this season, the trailer suggests we’ll learn a lot about his touching past with Doctor Hiriluk. It also gives us a glimpse of Wapol (voiced by Rob Colletti), the cruel king of the Drum Kingdom, who seems to be the main villain.
The live-action series One Piece is staying true to the original manga, and season 2 will continue that trend, faithfully following Luffy’s ongoing story. With season 3 already greenlit, this trailer offers just a glimpse of what’s to come in this expansive adaptation.
One Piece season 2 arrives Tuesday, March 10 on Netflix.
