Ozzy Osbourne’s kids are sharing subtle tributes to their late father. 

Following the demise of Black Sabbath’s frontman on July 22 at the age of 76, his private children with ex-wife Thelma Riley, Jessica Osbourne and Louis Osbourne, commemorated his life on various social media platforms.

I proudly reposted a touching tribute by ON, featuring Mario Lopez, on my own Instagram. Accompanying the post was my father’s iconic song “Crazy Train.” In the caption, I paid my respects to Ozzy with the words, “Rest in Peace, Ozzy.

Simultaneously, Louis, aged 50, opted for a more subtle tribute to their father by updating his online profiles with solid black screens instead.

Besides each sibling expressing their personal tributes, Ozzy’s family – comprising wife Sharon Osbourne, Aimée Osbourne (aged 42), Kelly Osbourne (aged 40) and Jack Osbourne (aged 39) – released a unified statement in response to his unexpected passing.

With deeper sorrow than words can express, we regretfully inform you that Ozzy Osbourne has sadly passed away this morning, as confirmed in a statement to TopMob News. He spent his final moments with loved ones and was enveloped by affection. At this difficult time, we kindly request everyone to give our family the privacy they need.

Simultaneously, numerous other stars expressing admiration for Ozzy have posted tributes online. Musically, Gavin Rossdale has spoken about the influence the heavy metal icon had on him during their short interactions.

As an ardent admirer, I penned down these heartfelt words on July 22nd: “Farewell, Ozzy – a colossal figure, a genuine legend. In our brief encounters, orchestrated by Jack, he was not only warm and kind but also brimming with humor. That precious memory holds a special place in my heart. Sending an overflowing tide of love to his cherished family during this challenging time. Rest in strength, Ozzy.

The post earned the attention of Ozzy’s wife Sharon, who wrote under the post, “Bless you.”

During her Mayhem tour, Lady Gaga paid tribute to Ozzy’s life by displaying a shirt with his name during her July 22 show in San Francisco. At the end of the concert, as she and her dancers bowed, they did so while “Crazy Train” was playing, revealing that her jacket bore Ozzy’s name.

A prominent member of the legendary rock band Def Leppard penned down these words, expressing that their upcoming performances would be dedicated to Ozzy. As the representative for our band, I’d like to share that our lead guitarist, Mike McCready, recounted his initial encounter with Black Sabbath during his high school years.

 

He found “War Pigs” both terrifying and captivating. It was Ozzy’s voice that transported him to a haunting realm. A fantastic escape, indeed. Upon hearing The ‘Blizzard of Ozz’ album, he immediately became a fan. Thanks for the music, Ozzy – it enhances our life’s voyage.

About his “Little Nicky” co-star, the actor expressed, “Whether we were hanging out in our basements with siblings, exploring woods with friends, cruising in cars, attending keg parties, boating, practicing football, or having sleepovers, there was no one cooler to blast on our stereos than the ultimate prince of darkness – Ozzy Osbourne! We all adored him just as much!
