He explained that the goal was to return to Hawkins and create a story that felt like a missing piece of the show. Unlike previous seasons focused on global threats, this story will have smaller stakes, centering on the kids working to protect their town rather than the world.

According to Yokoyama, while some upcoming games have been revealed, Yakuza Kiwami 3 will likely be the final installment in the Kiwami series. He suggests they’ll be moving on to a new series of games after this one, as noted by Reddit user Dastanovich.

Sega is removing Yakuza 3 Remastered from digital stores tomorrow, February 12th. The game first came out on PlayStation 3 in 2010 and was later remastered for PlayStation 4 in 2019, along with Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5. It’s also been available on Xbox and PC. After tomorrow, you won’t be able to buy Yakuza 3 Remastered on its own; it will only be included in the Yakuza Complete Series collection, which costs $130.
