Actor Noel Clarke has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape, according to reports.
Actor Noel Clarke, famous for his role in the film Kidulthood (2006) and for appearing in Doctor Who, is now accused of sexual assault, including unwanted exposure and inappropriate touching.
According to The Sun, detectives questioned the actor this week and have released him while they continue their investigation.
On February 10th, a man in his 50s was arrested by the Metropolitan Police on suspicion of attempted rape, indecent exposure, and sexual assault. He has been questioned by detectives.
Police have made an arrest in connection with a sexual offense that reportedly happened in London in 2007. The victim was a woman in her twenties.
Police also questioned the man about a voyeurism accusation, stemming from a previous arrest in September 2025. This concerns an alleged incident in 2013 where a woman in her twenties was targeted at a London address.
“The man was bailed pending further inquiries and the Met’s investigation continues.”
TopMob has reached out to Clarke’s representatives for further comment.
In August, Clarke lost a lawsuit against The Guardian. He had sued the newspaper’s publisher over claims of sexual misconduct, which he maintains are false.
Clarke was required to pay at least £3 million towards the legal costs of Guardian News and Media in September, leading him to file for bankruptcy.
